Painting Flowers on Silk

Paula has been painting since she was a small child. Inspired by her mother drawing her portrait as a toddler, Paula has recently been able to master her painting on silk technique to incorporate her portraiture skills. Travels to Africa, Peru, New Mexico and Hawaii have inspired her painting and established Paula as one of the world's leading silk artists. Painting on silk for nearly 20 years, and professionally for over 17 years, Paula has inspired many artists and has her original work in Private collections worldwide.

This interactive course shows you how to paint flowers, in this case pansies, on silk. Paula’s enthusiasm encourages all students, from beginners to the more advanced, to explore their own talents by showing EXACTLY how she produces her own paintings on silk.

Much of the course runs in Flash, so you will need Adobe Flash Player®. This is included in current versions of Internet Explorer. If it is not included with your browser, you can download and install it free of charge from Adobe.

The course contains a lot of video sequences, essential to communicate properly the course content, so you will need a broadband Internet connection. Duration (without practical) 1.5 hours. Allow half a day when you do the practical, for which you will need some equipment and materials, available from the pcpaintings.com. website.
